Designed by Kristian Henson, this shirt explores and celebrates the gothic scripts used throughout the Philippines; these scripts are a hybridity of Spanish Catholocism and American Imperialism, and their graphical styles co-opted by artists graphic designers in the Philippines. By his own hand, Kristian adds a little more metal/punk influence.

Tropical Futures Institute was founded in 2015 as an experiment in contemporary culture and is currently located in Cebu, Philippines.
TFI works with collaborators in New York, Cebu, Bacolod, Manila, Bali, and Singapore.
All garments and object production goes towards spreading the brand of the institute as well as funding TFI operational expenses.
